Submit Abstract & Manuscript

Paper selection for oral and poster presentations at the conference will be carried by the ILASS 2008 Scientific Committee on the basis of extended abstracts with a maximum length of
> two pages for oral presentation and
> one page for poster presentation.

Abstracts should include author’s names and affiliations, phone, fax, and e-mail placed under the title, and must be submitted by e-mail both to abstracts@ilasseurope2008.org and to ilass08@unibg.it.
> by January 28, 2008 for oral presentation and
> by June 2, 2008 for poster presentation.
Authors are kindly invited to specify in the e-mail subject: ’Oral presentation’ or ’Poster presentation’.
For guidance of abstract preparation, please read this sample.

Acceptance of paper abstracts will be confirmed by e-mail,
> by March 14, 2008 for oral presentation and
> by June 15, 2008 for poster presentation.
In order to receive a ISBN number for the proceedings a paper ID code will be assigned to each accepted abstract and must be included at the top of the first page of the full manuscript, as explained in the manuscript template.

Full manuscripts will be limited to
> 8 pages length for oral presentation by June 15, 2008
> 4 pages length for poster presentation by June 30, 2008
For guidance of manuscript preparation, please read this sample.
Name the file according to this format: Notification number_Family Name of corresponding author.pdf, Ex: A001_XXX.pdf. The file size of the full manuscript should not exceed 10MB.
Please, write the name and the e-mail address of the corresponding author and upload the file.

The CD-ROM Proceedings containing all manuscripts will be distributed at the Conference to all participants. A ISBN code will be assigned to all manuscripts included in the Conference Proceedings.

POSTERS
Posters will be displayed in the Exhibition area during the conference. They should summarise the work in progress, new techniques, etc. on 1mx1.25m boards. The poster format should be portrait, with 0.6m minimum dimension on the bottom side. Authors of posters should be available for questions and discussions during the poster sessions.

VIDEO GALLERY
The authors have the possibility to send videos that can help in understanding the phenomena they are investigating and which will be included in the Conference Proceedings, by June 30, 2008. The file size of the videos should not exceed 10MB. Compress the file and name it according to this format: Notification number_Family Name of corresponding author_Video.zip, Ex: A001_XXX_Video.zip. CONFERENCE BEST PAPER AWARD
’Atomization and Sprays’ has decided to publish a special issue with the best manuscripts presented in the regional ILASS 2008 Conferences. The ILASS Europe 2008 Steering Committee will select the five best papers and the authors will be asked to submit their papers to ’Atomization and Sprays’.

REMARK: The papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings only if the manuscripts have been received within the specific deadline and if at least one of the authors has registered and paid the registration fee before July 22, 2008 (NEWS!)
